Leah and Johnny wanted their wedding to be an intimate celebration of their commitment to each other with their closest family members. They rented a beautiful house on Keuka Lake for the week right across the water from where they would get married. Leah wanted to incorporate personal items from her family members including a piece of her grandmas and god-mothers’ wedding gowns. She created satin flowers and pinned them in her hair. She also wore a delicate pearl necklace that was given to her as a baby.
The part of their wedding day they were most excited about was their ceremony at Garret Chapel. It is nearly 100 years old with original stone work and wood beams. The chapel is perched on a cliff overlooking Keuka Lake. The architecture and the landscaping are both incredible. The whole property created a magical experience for their ceremony. Although it rained during the day, we were able to get some beautiful pictures around the property and the rain and the fog added to the magical atmosphere. It was really an incredible day and I am so happy to be a part of their intimate celebration. Congratulations to Leah and Johnny!!!
