We’ve been fortunate over the last few years with the opportunity to get to know Dan and Kassie in community group. They brought energy, honesty, and the beauty of a budding relationship to the group. They got engaged while finishing up school at Nazareth and dreamt of their wedding, but had to practice patience as it was a couple years out. I remember thinking, wow that is a long time. But for two dedicated and determined people, it didn’t matter. They planned the most beautiful wedding amidst school work, and graduations, and tests, and bills, and job searches, and they did it all with grace and kindness. There were many joy-filled tears shed on their wedding day (including several of my own).
The ceremony and reception were held at the newly renovated Deerfield Country Club. From the serene stone patio to the glamorous getting ready room, the details and décor were gorgeous. We had time outside for great photos with the group and a special moment for Kassie and Dan. The couple danced their first dance to a song sung by a dear friend. They ate delectable hors d’oeuvres and fun grazing food. They ended the night with a sparkler send off.
Kassie and Dan, we are so proud of you and your genuine, faithful relationship. We wish you the best on this incredible journey!
