Katie and Adam threw a wedding to remember. They incorporated bits and pieces of their favorite things into the entire day. Katie wore a garter that’s been passed down through generations. Adam sported zebra cuff links, zebra socks, and a zebra handkerchief (for which apparently he has a special affinity). Though Katie’s horse Elmo (who made a cameo at their engagement shoot) couldn’t be at the wedding, he was there in spirit. Katie’s mom made a horse for the entrance of Ravenwood, decorated with flowers and a part of Elmo’s tail. The bridal party topped it off with cowboy boots and sunflowers.
But beyond the details, we were reminded of Katie and Adam’s deep love for each other all day. Adam may have had the best reaction we’ve ever witnessed to the words “I now pronounce you husband and wife.” The zebra handkerchief came in handy as joy-filled tears ran down his face. The reception was filled with laughter, from Adam’s dad’s Best Man speech to the surprise purple-suited zebra dance. The dance floor was full from start to finish. It was an incredible day, an incredible party, and an incredible couple. We wish them the best!
