Emily and Greg’s wedding was a heartfelt celebration held the day before the 4th of July, perfectly blending their love for the Finger Lakes and their shared passion for music and photography. The couple chose Hotel Canandaigua which sits right on the top of Canandaigua Lake, a place close to their hearts making it a frequent getaway spot for them. The venue allowed them to host both the ceremony and reception in one beautiful location over looking Canandaigua Lake. Their color palette paid tribute to the 4th of July holiday with fuchsia replacing the traditional red and bright navy standing in for blue. This subtle yet meaningful nod to their favorite holiday made their wedding décor truly one-of-a-kind.

The day was also significant as it marked the blending of their two families, with Emily’s two sons walking her down the aisle, symbolizing not just a union between Emily and Greg but a coming together of their loved ones. The ceremony was deeply personal, with written vows and carefully chosen music that reflected the soundtrack of their relationship. Instead of traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances, the couple opted for groom-daughter and bride-son dances, making the celebration even more special and inclusive. The reception featured signature drinks named after their beloved beagles, Ronnie and Ruby, adding a playful and memorable touch to the festivities at Hotel Canandaigua. This intimate and thoughtfully planned wedding was a true reflection of Emily and Greg’s love and the new family they were creating together.
