Gabby and Bryan’s wedding was an unforgettable celebration of love, friendship, and music, set against the vibrant backdrop of Rochester. Their ceremony took place at Star Alley Park, a charming urban green space that just so happened to be hosting the annual Harvest Festival that day, adding an extra layer of energy and excitement to their vows. Capturing this wedding was extra special for us since Bryan is a longtime friend and photographer who shot many weddings with us when we were starting out. Gabby and Bryan also met in the news field like Kristen and I, and continue to use their talents to tell news stories in Connecticut today. So we knew they would make a perfect team.
Bryan was overcome with emotion as he saw Gabby in her wedding dress for the first time—a moment that perfectly reflected their deep connection. As a sports reporter and news photographer, their shared passion for storytelling made their ceremony all the more meaningful, with every detail paying tribute to the journey that brought them together in Rochester.
The celebration continued at Artisan Works, an eclectic and artistic venue that suited their creative spirits perfectly. Guests explored the endless collection of artwork adorning the walls, ceilings, and floors, making for a one-of-a-kind wedding atmosphere. Gabby’s excitement for the post-ceremony celebration was fully realized as they danced the night away, with Bryan’s former bandmates and groomsmen—reuniting for a surprise performance at the end of the reception. It was the first time they had played together in years, and the energy in the room was electric. As Rochester wedding photographers, this wedding was especially meaningful for us, as Bryan played a big role in our own journey. Seeing him and Gabby so happy, surrounded by friends, family, and music, was a full-circle moment we were honored to capture.
