Krista & Colin – Lake Front Wedding – Video – Rochester, NY

Krista and Colin wanted a non-traditional fall theme for their wedding in October. They looked at 14 different venues. Arbor at the port was the last one and they knew immediately when they walked in that this was the place for them! Colin loved the outdoor patio that is right along the Genesee river and they both loved the expansive space and how beautiful it was.

Krista and Colin’s day was filled with incredible moments that they will cherish forever, including their first look at the George Eastman House, their beautiful ceremony and Krista’s Dad’s heartfelt speech.

For Krista and Colin their wedding was a once in a lifetime event to share with all of their family and friends. But it was also a chance for them to have all of their favorite foods. They started with a huge charcuterie table and hand passed appetizers. The charcuterie table was a huge hit, and their guests let nothing go to waste! They had spicy lettuces (a Vern’s restaurant salad), Lost Meatball Ravi (also a Vern’s dish!), beef rib roast, cod en papillote, roasted carrots, scalloped potatoes, and curried red lentils. For a late night snack they had a baked potato bar that was also AMAZING! So many different toppings and everyone was able to make their own. Their cake had 3 different flavors including an almond cake with raspberry filling, vanillas with lemon, and pumpkin with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Every layer was so good but their favorite was the pumpkin! They also had a variety of delicious treats from Cheesy Eddie’s that were to die for! Everything was incredible. We wish Krista and Colin all the best!
