For Leah and Sami, we got to see bits and pieces of their journey unfold over time. Their wedding was extra special for us since we are close friends with Leah’s parents, and through that we had an understanding of everything they went through to make it to their wedding day.
Their engagement was years in the making. And in that time they dealt with a pandemic, pushback, grad school, job changes, and the list goes on. But boy was it worth it. The brides picked the most beautiful early fall weekend. The sun was shining, the ciders were flowing, and the terra cotta dresses were glowing.
The décor was wonderfully unique and natural with burnt oranges, mints, and creams. But beyond the beautiful details and glowing brides, were the most magical moments, from sharing a first touch and prayer with their pastors prior to the ceremony, to first looks with their parents, and the remembrance of Leah’s beloved brother, Jake. But maybe the most memorable time came at the very end, when Leah and Sami shared a private, last dance outside under the lights.
