Lexie and Steve’s wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale. From Lexie’s billowy dress to the towering blush centerpieces – from the lace-wrapped bouquets to the choreographed first dance, it felt like a ball for the modern age. It lived up to Lexie’s dream of being a romantic, whimsical, elegant, tear-inducing, joyful celebration of love.
Beyond the thoughtfully planned and executed details, the newlyweds were surrounded by their fans: their devoted parents and siblings who have celebrated every milestone in their lives and their old and new friends who keep them laughing day in and day out. Lexie and Steve were serenaded down the aisle by family members who sang special songs. And as Lexie and Steve neared the end of their incredible first dance, you got goosebumps as you heard the room erupt in celebration. The happy couple exuded joy in each moment of the day, and that joy was contagious.
And if you’ve never been to a wedding at Woodcliff’s Lookout Point, you don’t know what you’re missing. In Lexie’s first reaction to the open-view spot, she remarked that “everyone who was no longer with us had the best seat in the house watching us getting married from heaven.” It feels just like that. Like you’re up in the clouds and that your view goes on for miles and miles. It’s known for its remarkable sunset, and the first weekend of July did not disappoint. Lexie and Steven enjoyed a private encore of their first dance under the glowing orange sunset.
From early on, Lexie and Steve knew the photos and videos from the day were going to be some of their most valued possessions to remember and reflect on for the rest of their lives. We were honored to be there throughout the day, capturing the grand gestures and also the quiet glances. The story of their day can and should serve as a loving reminder from here on out.
